viagogo is an online secondary ticket exchange that allows people to buy and sell concert, sport, theatre and other live event tickets in a safe and secure environment. viagogo was set up in August 2006 by the co-founder of StubHub.com, the leading online secondary ticketing company in the US that was acquired in January 2007 by eBay for $307m. Based on an already proven business model and adapted for the European market, viagogo is the first and leading business of its kind in Europe, bringing efficiency and transparency to what has traditionally been a murky marketplace.

 

Since launch we have formed ground breaking partnerships with leading sports teams like Manchester United, Chelsea FC and FC Bayern Munich, music industry giants Warner Music International and Live Nation and artists such as The Police, James Blunt and Linkin Park.

Role:

 

Reporting to the VP of Marketing you will be a key member of the Online Marketing team, actively managing the company’s pay-per-click (PPC) and search engine optimization (SEO) programs.

 

 

 • Generating and managing multiple PPC campaigns with large and dynamic inventory of events

 • Managing daily bidding strategy and involved in the development of bid automation tools

 • Tracking daily, weekly and monthly keyword and overall campaign performance

 • Assisting creation and monitoring of online marketing budgets and forecasts

 • Assisting implementing of SEO strategy and detailed tracking of SEO results

 

Essential Qualifications:

 

 • 2.1 or above in a economics/statistical/ mathematical or tech discipline from a top class university 

 • Expertise using online advertising programs, in particular Google AdWords

 • Advanced computer literacy (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)

 • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 • Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
