| Venus Sales Ltd has a fantastic opportunity for a Search Engine Marketer/Link Builder to join their current team. The company is well established with a brilliant turnover and would be great place to build your career in online marketing. The company has a variety of websites which focus on the product range of more than 7000 products. The company is still owner managed so provides the opportunity for you to develop your career to the maximum.
This is a pivotal role within the company and will see turnover double in the next twelve months. The right person will have a passion for link building and search engine marketing; they must be enthusiastic and driven to drive their career forward. You must have excellent written communication skills with experience of web searches, search engines, social networking, blogs and blogging. The person will have an opinion but can still be diplomatic; they will be self motivated and able to work in team and alone. Good attention to detail, accuracy and perfect spelling are all essential attributes. The person must be able to hit the ground running and pick up the job quickly, easily and efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Monitor inbound links and produce new high quality links using blogs, forums, directories etc.
• Monitor and improve ranking for specific keywords
• Establish systems for monitoring the link building process, implement and refine a link building strategy
• A strong contribution towards the writing of internal content resources
• Gather and analyse information relating to website traffic, traffic sources and conversions, this will be using a web analytical software such as Google Analytics
• Analyse competitors to increase web traffic and ultimately sales
• Produce regular progress reports to keep the management team updated
• Assisting with the writing of online press releases, optimisation and distribution of these press releases
• Acquisition of potential third party opportunities
Requirements
• Minimum of 6 months experience in commercial and off page SEO
• Computer literate with a passion for Search Engine Marketing with a genuine enthusiasm for your role and the industry
• Ability to demonstrate previous successful campaigns that have been run
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to co-ordinate a variety of tasks at the same time
• Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Reliable
• Good attention to detail, organised and methodical within the work environment
• Strategic and Analytical mind and the ability to execute plans set out by yourself and others
• Any additional online marketing experience such as affiliates and social networking would be beneficial
• Basic knowledge of html desirable but not essential
Salary is circa 20K depending on experience
