Job Title: Web Marketing Specialist
Description
We are seeking a seasoned professional to provide strategic leadership, tactical execution, and analytic support surrounding the development of the websites we creating for our customers, a search engine marketing (SEM) program across eCommerce as well develop social media, blogs and forums strategy and content. The person we seek will create, implement, track, analyze, and optimize keyword campaigns across multiple search engines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing content, SEM and blogs. You will thrive in a highly entrepreneurial, fast-changing, and collaborative environment where people are driven and enthusiastic. Responsibilities will include: • Develop social media strategy and content aligned with the brand and business goals • Post content and be highly responsive to comments and feedback, extending service commitment to social media • Manage corporate blog, customer blogs and any guest bloggers • Conduct outreach and build relationships with top bloggers and local community groups • Monitor dialogue and feedback in social media outlets, synthesize, and make recommendations for action • Build and manage metrics reporting and analysis • Support Search Engine Marketing through analysis, optimization, and new keyword acquisition • Partner with Category Managers to build search engine volume and efficiency across categories • Conceptualize and initiate tests (keyword bids, ad copy, and landing pages) in order to continually improve key metrics (click, search, convert) across campaigns • Make recommendations on keyword selection and prioritize expansion efforts • Manage relationships with partners • Stay informed of industry trends and best practices • Investigate and implement new technologies, services, automation capabilities, and/or vendor solutions that enhance SEM • Act as the SEM point of contact on technical development Qualifications must include: • Minimum Bachelor's Degree required - top tier school highly preferred • 3+ years in SEM experience - including SEO, PPC and social media, and demonstrated passion for the social media space • Strong consumer insight and commitment to exceptional customer service • Ability to emotionally connect with customers orally and in writing • Outstanding attention to detail • Team player who is willing to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done • Ability to produce strategic recommendations for new/startup sites
